Art on the Line: Prepare to be ‘Captured’ this Fall!

Vancouver is in for a treat this fall when the inaugural Capture Photographic Festival kicks-off on October 1st! For 6 weeks Capture will celebrate and promote photography, showcasing the very best of local and international talent in both public space and commercial galleries.

Please join us for a free guided visit led by CAG director Nigel Prince, discussing the exhibitions Recycled Playground by Romanian artist Ciprian Muresan and As It Comes by Canadian artist Raymond Boisjoly – presented across the window spaces of the gallery building and off-site at the Yaletown-Roundhouse Station, Canada Line.

The Kids From Project Limelight Are Off to See the Wizard

Ingenuous, enchanting and compelling, Project Limelight Society once again explores a spellbinding world with an inner city twist in their latest performance, There’s No Place Like Oz. In the tradition of pantomime, Project Limelight Society performances combine audience interaction, music, comedy and dance. Featuring eighteen young performers, ages 8 – 12, this modern adaptation of the Wizard of Oz will be performed at Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema, SFU Woodward’s Goldcorp Centre of the Arts. Suitable for audiences of all ages, performances are held only on Sunday, February 24 at 2:00PM and 6:00PM.
